Stride With Pride - Autism Acceptance

Meet Harrison and Daniel

Meet my beautiful little nephews. They are the most amazing little humans to hang out with. They both have Autism. Harrison is stage 3 and non verbal but makes amazing progress everyday, he is extremely sensitive, quite quiet, and is really skillful with his hands.  Daniel is stage 2 and also has signs of ADHD, he is absolutely wild and free. Truly both have such big personalities that deserve space to grow.  My concern is for the world they enter and the people they will encounter.  I really just want to contribute to making it a better more accepting place to live for them. My sister has done a marvellous job so far and the early intervention programs truly support her through this time. I don't know how she is doing but she is and deserves applause. Out there advocating for her children as well as fearing the school years ahead. Lets get behind her and many others and keep that much need funding going to the right place.

We're joining the movement to Run for Autism. But we need your help!

Why are we running 70km this October? Because 70% of Autistic people face mental health challenges.

We're running towards a more inclusive world where Autistic Australians have the opportunity to thrive.

Please donate now and show your support to my fundraiser. You’ll be helping more Autistic people in Australia access life-changing assessments, autism-specific education, specialist therapies and adult community services.

You’ll also give us the motivation we need to log my kilometres as we go the distance throughout October. Donate now to show your support.

Thank you!
