As the father of an autistic 6 year old. I’m joining the movement to Run for Autism.... But I need your help!
As the father of an Autistic 6-year-old, this is an area that means a lot to our family. Like so many others, our job as parents is to continue to nurture, regulate, support & provide Ryder the opportunity to thrive through challenges in a world that’s not set up for him.
Why am I running +70km this October?
Because 70% of Autistic people face mental health challenges.
I’m running towards a more inclusive world where Autistic Australians like Ryder have the opportunity to thrive.
If you can, please donate something small to show your support to my fundraiser. You’ll be helping so many Autistic people like Ryder in Australia access life-changing assessments, autism-specific education, specialist therapies and adult community services.
You’ll also give me the motivation to log my kilometres as I go the distance throughout October.
