I’m joining the movement to Run for Autism. But I need your help.
While Autism is more widely recognised and accepted today than in the past, we still have a long way to go before we live in a truly Autism-friendly society.
This October, I’ll be running 140km to raise awareness and funds for better mental health support for people with Autism.
The standard challenge is 70km, representing the 70% of people with Autism who experience mental health challenges. I’ve chosen to double that distance to 140km, in honour of two incredible people with Autism whose struggles with mental health went unsupported due to a lack of understanding around complex Autism.
As someone who works with students with Autism every day, this cause is very close to my heart. I’m running to help create positive change and ensure that the right supports are there for those who need them most. 💙
👉 You can support me by donating through the link below, or even better, join me in running and help spread the word! Together, we can keep the conversation going and move closer to an Autism-friendly world.
