A dad on the run! 70km for Autism and mental wellbeing.
Why am I running 70km this October?Because this isn’t just about a number, it’s about my son. He’s Autistic, and I’ve seen the highs, lows and the challenges that come with that, not only for him but for us as a family. I know the strength it takes to navigate a world that isn’t always built with him in mind.
70% of Autistic people face mental health challenges, and that’s something I can’t ignore. Every kilometre I run is for him, and for every other Autistic person and family doing their best each day.
By donating, you’ll be helping more Autistic Australians access life-changing assessments, education, therapies, and community services. These are the supports that can truly change lives and futures.
And honestly, your support will help keep me going through every kilometre of the 70km. Knowing I’m not running alone will push me to the finish line.
If you’re able, please donate today. Let’s build a world where Autistic people like my son are given every chance to thrive.
Thank you.
A great effort for a worthy cause. Good on you Joel!
