I’m joining the movement to Run for Autism. But I need your help.
Why am I running 70km this October? Because this year my world shifted. Â I saw my daughter struggle with things others take for granted and her safety and mental wellbeing suffer. Â I was blown away that 70% of Autistic people face mental health challenges, but having seen the impact firsthand it broke my heart.
I’m running towards a more inclusive world where all Autistic Australians have the opportunity to thrive. While I am grateful that my daughter has an amazing team supporting her, this just isn’t the case for some.
Please donate now and show your support to my fundraiser.  You’ll be helping provide early diagnosis, autism-specific education, and critical research into mental health issues experienced by Autistic people so they can access the support they need to realise their different brilliant®.Â
You’ll also give me the motivation I need to log my kilometres as I go the distance throughout October.  My program will be slightly adjusted to include swimming and riding as I myself regain my own health, a win win!  I appreciate any donation or show of support.  It really does take a village!
