I’m joining the movement to Run for Autism. But I need your help.
Why are we running 70km this October?
Because 70% of people with autism face mental health challenges, and for our family, this is deeply personal.
As an Early Years Teacher, I see just how important early support, understanding, and inclusion are for children with autism and their families. I’ve also experienced it in my own home. Our son, Boston, is 11 years old and has autism. We know the daily challenges, the moments of joy, the strength it takes, and the support that truly makes a difference.
That’s why my husband Bryce and I are running this October , for Boston, for the children and families I work with, for the family and friends I know with autism, and for every individual with autism who deserves the chance to thrive in a world that understands and includes them.
We’re running towards a future where people with autism have greater access to the support they need including assessments, autism-specific education, specialist therapies, and adult community services.
Please consider donating to our fundraiser. Your support will help families like ours and so many others across Australia. You’ll also be helping us stay motivated to reach our 70km goal throughout October!
Thank you so much for your support
