I’m joining the movement to Run for Autism. But I need your help.
Why I’m Running 97km This October
This October, I’m committing to 97km, not because I love running (I really don’t!), but because I care about this cause immensely.
Why 97km?
While the minimum distance for the fundraiser is just 35km, I’ve decided to push to 97km.
97 is a special number in my family, so dedicating this challenge to them feels especially meaningful.
But here’s the truth:
Running 97km in a month is nothing compared to the daily challenges many Autistic Australians face. Especially when these challenges that can be eased with the right support and services.
That’s why I’m running for a more inclusive world, where Autistic people can thrive, feel understood, and access the help they need, from life-changing assessments and autism-specific education to specialist therapies and adult community services.
This is where you come in.
Please donate to the run for autism fundraiser and help make a real difference. Your support will do two things:
Help Autistic Australians access the support they deserve.
Give me the motivation I need to keep logging those kilometres right through October! (SHEER PANIC RIGHT NOW)
And here’s my promise:
If I don’t reach my 97km goal by the end of the month, I’ll personally match whatever I’ve raised from family and friends.
Thank you so much for your support, it means the world to me, and even more to the people this fundraiser will benefit.
Let’s do this together🤝
Well done Livvy - an important cause.
