Mia Chappell

I’m joining the movement to Run for Autism. But I need your help.

Hi I’m Mia I’m a 18 year old autistic adult I live in Victoria and this October I’m making a change to better support myself and other autistic Australians!

A bit about myself I was diagnosed with autism level 2 when I was 8 years old after countless years saying that I was just shy or anxious which wasn’t the case I was just born into a world that didn’t support me, after many years of being told I would never amount to anything in my life I finally got into my dream course for 2026 and have a amazing boyfriend by my side.

Why am I running 70km this October? Because 70% of Autistic people face mental health challenges.

I’m running towards a more inclusive world where Autistic Australians have the opportunity to thrive.

Please donate now and show your support to my fundraiser. You’ll be helping more Autistic people in Australia access life-changing assessments, autism-specific education, specialist therapies and adult community services.

You’ll also give me the motivation I need to log my kilometres as I go the distance throughout October. Donate now to show your support.

Thank you!
