Run for Autism 2025

Last October, I took part in the Run for Autism fundraiser. My original goal was to raise awareness, complete 40kms, and raise $2,000 for Aspect – an incredible organisation supporting more than 290,000 Australians on the autism spectrum.

The generosity of my family and friends was overwhelming. Together, we raised $15,770 – the highest amount ever raised by an individual in the history of the event. My motivation came from my two younger brothers, who are both on the spectrum, and from the encouragement of everyone who donated.

Before the challenge, I had never run more than 500 metres. With the guidance and support of my friend and trainer, Max, I pushed through and completed 100kms throughout October.

Crossing the final stretch was unforgettable. My family and friends surprised me by showing up to cheer me on, even bringing a ribbon for me to cross. The pride and love I felt in that moment will stay with me forever. More importantly, I hope my journey inspired others to take part and help raise vital funds for Aspect.

This October, I’m taking on a new challenge: to run 150kms. Every donation – big or small – makes a real difference and will be deeply appreciated.
