I’m trail running 140km this October for Autism. I need your help!
Research shows that Autistic people experience anxiety and depression at higher rates than the general population. Run for Autism asks people to run 70km in October for the 70% of Autistic people facing mental health challenges.
I am challenging myself to double-up and trail run 140km this October. I am just one of many Autistic people facing mental health challenges and I know how running in nature supports my own mental health.
I’m running towards a more inclusive and accessible world where my family and all Autistic Australians can have the opportunity and access, to thrive.
Assessments, specific education and therapies are expensive and beyond affordable for the average family. Assessments and diagnosis are necessary for access to government disability support. Your donation will be helping more Autistic people in Australia access such services.
You’ll also give me the motivation I need to log my kilometres as I go the 140km distance this October.
If you would like to learn more about supporting Autistic people with symptoms of anxiety and depression, please ask me.
Thank you!
