We hate running but we're doing it anyway.
Why 70km? Because 70% of people with autism are also dealing with mental health struggles like anxiety, depression, and more. We're running to support those individuals and raise funds to make a difference—whether through research, better services, or just raising awareness to help others understand what it's really like.
A bit about us: Monique and Paul's son. Emmett, is autistic, and while life can be tough for him at times, he is hands down the funniest, sweetest person we've ever met. His sense of humor is next level, and he’s always finding ways to make us laugh—even on the hardest days. But let’s be real—life isn’t always easy for him, or for families like ours. That’s why we're lacing up our shoes (even though we'd much rather stay in bed) and running 70km to help make the world a little more supportive and understanding.
So, we’ve committed to running a lot over the next month (spread out, thank goodness!) and we’d love your support. Whether it’s a donation, a cheer from the sidelines, or just some good vibes sent our way, every little bit helps.
Thanks for supporting our run and for helping us make a difference for Emmett and so many others!
