Running for autism.
For the second year in a row i am running in October to raise money for autism research and awareness.
Many of you may know that we have a child with autism, which has presented challenges for him and our family, and I am quite certain that I would have been diagnosed similarly had there been more awareness at the time that I was a child. I am very cognisant of the need for more awareness in the area, as autism truly is a spectrum, and whilst many are unfortunately severely affected and unable to live without assistance, others simply have additional hidden challenges and frustrations in their way.
I am running 140km this time, in October, and anyone who either runs themselves, takes an interest, reads this, or donates, will be very greatly appreciated.
