I’m joining the movement to Run for Autism. But I need your help.
In October I am going to be running 70km to raise money and awareness for Autism.
Each and every person with Autism is different and if I can do my little bit to help with making life a little easier by spreading awareness, to help with understanding those that are neurodiverse, then I guess running 70km is the least I can do.
Aspect Autism Australia is a company that helps people who have autism and provide opportunities to access different services such as education and therapies to learn, thrive and to flourish in a way that they can be themselves.
Why am I running 70km this October? Because 70% of Autistic people face mental health challenges.
I’m running towards a more inclusive world where Autistic Australians have the opportunity to thrive.
Please donate now and show your support to my fundraiser. You’ll be helping more Autistic people in Australia access life-changing assessments, autism-specific education, specialist therapies and adult community services.
You’ll also give me the motivation I need to log my kilometres as I go the distance throughout October. Donate now to show your support.
I have always wanted to help children with additional needs. Being inspired directly by growing up with a support unit in my primary/high school and a student in my first year of teaching plus many more over the years, I now have the privilege of working directly with students who have a diagnosis.
Thank you!
Proud of you
