I’m joining the movement to Run for Autism. But I need your help.
Why am I running 70km this October? Because 70% of Autistic people face mental health challenges.
I’m running towards a more inclusive world where Autistic Australians have the opportunity to thrive.Â
For those unaware, I've had a spectacularly bad 12 months physically. Last Easter I severed my fingertip chopping carrots. After recovering, I gave myself rhabdomyolysis from overexertion in October, leaving me unable to walk the dogs for five months. Then on a "gentle" bike ride, I went over the handlebars and broke my bursa sac, chipped my Ulna, leading to ongoing infections, including staph and four rounds of antibiotics, lasting 3 months.
Please donate now and show your support to my fundraiser. You’ll be helping more Autistic people in Australia access life-changing assessments, autism-specific education, specialist therapies and adult community services.Â
You’ll also give me the motivation I need to log my kilometres as I go the distance throughout October. Donate now to show your support.Â
Thank you!
