Getting Back Up Again

February 2024 - I was broken
October 2025 - My record has spoken

I was hospitalised for 2 months after sustaining a broken leg in 2024.
Reflecting on my tendency to be unsuspecting of unreliable, harmful people, and the string of school and social misfortunes, I did some
investigation and research.

Since the age of 5, I thought I was just deaf, but this year presented me with
a surprising diagnosis of
(socially significant) Autism.

So I decided to push this to
a really good light and take up
this challenge.
The generosity of all the
wonderful donors out there have motivated me to double my initial distance to 140 kilometres.

To all the donors, I would like to give
my sincere thanks.
The biggest, and most heartfelt
thank you to the most caring
of family members and friends
who have been constant in their
support and understanding
of my journey.
Step by step, Day by day.

Love,
Trevor

I’m joining the movement to Walk/Run for Autism. But I need your help.

Why am I running 70km this October? Because 70% of Autistic people face mental health challenges.

I’m running towards a more inclusive world where Autistic Australians have the opportunity to thrive.

Please donate now and show your support to my fundraiser. You’ll be helping more Autistic people in Australia access life-changing assessments, autism-specific education, specialist therapies and adult community services.

You’ll also give me the motivation I need to log my kilometres as I go the distance throughout October. Donate now to show your support.

Thank you!

We’re so very proud of you Trevor. This is a fundraiser very close to our heart. There’s definitely not enough fundraisers or education about spectrum disorders but it’s great to see so much more support now than then was several years ago.
