I’m running 60km this October to raise funds for the estimated 1 in 40 Australians on the autism Spectrum.

Inspired by my amazing daughter Cali, who was diagnosed with autism, I’m taking on the challenge of running 60km this October to raise funds for the estimated 1 in 40 Australians on the autism spectrum. This cause is close to my heart, especially after watching Cali’s courage and determination when she participated in the MS Readathon—reading an incredible 80 books and raising $500 to help others💜

One day, she and my wife Tiff came across the Run for Autism campaign and thought, “Daddy runs!” 

Cali came to me and asked if I’d take part. How could I possibly say no?

Tiff does an incredible job teaching Cali about autism, helping her understand how her beautiful mind works, and most importantly, that it's okay to be different. I hope that by running this 60km, I can contribute in my own way, raising awareness, and maybe even inspiring others to see the beauty in what makes us all unique.

This run isn't just about the distance; it's about showing my kids that no matter how big or small, every effort matters. Every step I take is for Cali and for every child who deserves access to support, education, and community.
