We're joining the movement to Run for Autism. But we need your help!

Neuma has officially signed up for Run for Autism 2026 this October! A cause that is deeply close to our hearts.

Hosted by Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect), this event raises critical funds for early diagnosis, specialist schooling, research, and building truly inclusive environments for the 70 percent of Autistic individuals who face mental health challenges.

Professionally, the majority of the people we support at Neuma are Autistic individuals who have found it difficult to access mental health care that truly aligns with their minds. Every day we see the strength, courage, and resilience it takes to keep moving through systems that weren’t designed with them in mind, and this is why this cause matters so deeply.

But our reasons for stepping up in October aren’t just professional. Personally, it’s a commitment that has shaped the way we show up, not only in our work, but ongoing in our advocacy, and in the way we move through the world. We live and breathe the daily realities, the advocate exhaustion, and the immense strengths of our community.

✨ We’re running for the kids who deserve early recognition, inclusive education, better systems, and support that fits their world.

✨ We’re running for the teens navigating sensory overwhelm, school pressures, being misunderstood and environments that still minimise their needs.

✨ We’re running for the adults who spent years feeling misunderstood before finally finding clarity, and grapple with the aftermath.

✨ We’re running for the parents who have had to keep proving what they see and know, even while being dismissed or ignored, navigating the journey without the support they deserved.
