The Executive Dysfunctionals

Run for Autism 2026

Last minute as always!!

So! Tomorrow is the 1st of October... And as always I've left the husstle to the last minute... So please chuck some spare dollars in to support our team.

Dan's decided this is a great way to kick start his life long dream of becoming a runner, so he will be running the 70km in 25 days as he has eye surgery to cut his time short, whilst also working 12 hour days with a 2 hour commute! I added a measly 5km on to my total as will be strolling the 75km. And Rach of course has put us all to shame and set her goal to 140km.

If you feel like donating, sharing to raise awareness, or joining our team, we would be super appreciative!!

We're joining the movement to Run for Autism. But we need your help!

🧠 The Executive Dysfunctionals

Dysregulated.
Distracted.
Determined. 😂

This October, we are taking on Run for Autism and, to be honest, we will more than likely be walking!

For many of us, autism isn't something that's distant or abstract, it's part of our family's everyday life. We've experienced firsthand just how difficult the journey can be: navigating assessments, specialists, paediatricians, waiting lists and the significant financial and emotional cost of simply trying to get answers and access the right support.
And unfortunately, getting answers is often only the beginning.

We're walking because early diagnosis and early support matter. Funds raised through Run for Autism help support earlier diagnosis, autism-specific education, research and the development of more inclusive, autism-friendly environments.

Because everyone deserves to feel understood, accepted and like they belong , without having to constantly fight for the support they need or change who they are to fit in- hello late diagnosis!

So this October, we'll put one foot in front of the other.

Some of us will run.
Some will walk.
Some will get distracted.
Some will need a coffee and whale watching break. ☕
And someone will inevitably ask, “Wait… what kilometre are we up to?”
But every kilometre and every dollar helps.

We're walking for earlier diagnosis.
For understanding.
For acceptance.
For inclusion.
For families and individuals navigating a system that can be exhausting and incredibly expensive.
And ultimately, for a world where everyone has a place, everyone is valued, and everyone belongs. 💙

Please support us-
Dysregulated, distracted, determined, but we'll get there eventually.
