I’m joining the movement to Run for Autism. But I need your help.

This month, I'm taking on 70km for Run for Autism - a cause close to my heart.  

I've spent much of this year learning more about autism and deepening my understanding of the experiences of autistic people...listening and seeing the world through a different lens.  

The brutal fact that 70% of autistic people experience mental health challenges is heartbreaking - but, after everything I've learnt this year, it unfortunately doesn't surprise me.  Navigating a world that so often misunderstands you, or doesn't accommodate your needs, can take an enormous toll.

I'm running because everyone deserves to feel they belong and to have the mental health support they need. 

The funds raised will help support Aspect's work, including early diagnosis, autism-specific education and vital research into mental health - alongside services that support autistic people and their families.
