Why am I running 70km this October?
Our beautiful boy Owen was diagnosed with level 3 ASD mid 2024. As a family of 5, we have faced many challenges since then, one of the biggest being the mental toll it has taken on myself and my husband mitch in learning and accepting his diagnosis.
70% of Autistic people face mental health challenges and we will do whatever it takes to reshape and prevent that future for our boy.
The first step in making this happen is running towards a more inclusive world where Autistic Australians just like owen have the opportunity to thrive.
