Our Why, Our Mason

During the month of October Michael and I will be running/walking 70kms each to help raise money for autism awareness and access to early intervention. 

In May 2023 our oldest son Mason was given a provisional diagnosis of autism. He is our loving, caring, cheeky boy who has grown and developed so much since we began early intervention a year and a half ago. Mase has a significant speech delay with some sensory processing issues. We have worked closely with a speech therapist and occupational therapist over the last year and a half which has been instrumental in Mason's growth and development.

We have been incredibly fortunate to access early invention which has provided Mason with the tools and resources to continue to develop his communication and social skills. 

We're doing #RunforAutism because we want other families to have the same support and opportunity of early invention as well as access to therapies and tools to help their children thrive in a world where they can be their wonderful selves.
