I’m joining the movement to Run for Autism. But I need your help.
Hi, I’m Ash!
I’m raising funds to support autism awareness and acceptance — not just for me, but for everyone who’s ever felt like the odd one out in a world built for sameness. Being autistic is a core part of who I am. It's not always easy — things like small talk, bright lights, or change can feel like Olympic-level challenges. I have too many tabs open in my brain at all times, and eye contact is the worst thing in the world — but it's also filled with beautiful things like deep empathy, strong values, beautiful creativity and the ability to hyperfocus on the things and people I love.
I used to think I had to hide parts of myself to fit in. Now, I'm learning to take up space as I am — no filters, no masks. This fundraiser is part of that journey.
It’s about creating understanding, breaking down stigma, and building a world that celebrates neurodivergent minds — not just tolerates them.
If you’re able to donate — thank you from the bottom of my overstimulated heart. If not, sharing this would mean the world. Every bit of support helps remind me that different doesn’t mean broken — it means brilliant.
Great work Ash! Here's a bit to put towards a good cause and also to try and help you beat Rose!
