I’m Running For Autism! Raising funds so no one is left behind.
Throughout October, I’ll be running, jogging, sprinting and most of all complaining about the running. All so I can raise money for Autistic Australians.
My minimum distance will be 70km, but I hope to push past that.
The 70km is to represent the 70% of Autistic people who have to deal with mental health challenges. Because the world isn’t autism friendly, but with the donations I receive, we can help change that.
We can give families access to an early diagnosis for their child, we can fund programs that are inclusive and accessible, and help create environments where Autistic Australians can feel welcomed, accepted and celebrated.
We can remove the invisible barriers that prevent some from living their life to the fullest, and we can help change the perception of what Autism is in Australia.
So help me on my journey, sharing, liking, donating or just encouraging me to keep going. Every little bit helps and can make a massive impact.
