I’m joining the movement to Run for Autism. But I need your help.
Why am I running 67km this October? Because 70% of Autistic people face mental health challenges.
I’m running towards a more inclusive world where Autistic Australians have the opportunity to thrive.
Please donate now and show your support to my fundraiser. You’ll be helping provide early diagnosis, autism-specific education, and critical research into mental health issues experienced by Autistic people so they can access the support they need to realise their different brilliant®.
My motivation for taking on this challenge is my 7-year-old son, Kai, who we support every day as he navigates life on the autism spectrum.
As a family, we’ve experienced firsthand the tough and often gruelling process of accessing the funding and support he needs. While we’re incredibly grateful for the support available to families, we also know how overwhelming and difficult the process can be to navigate.
I’m taking on this challenge to help raise awareness and hopefully make a difference for other families going through a similar journey. No family should have to feel lost or overwhelmed when trying to access the support their child needs.
For Kai, and for all the other families walking a similar path, this one is for you.
You’ll also give me the motivation I need to log my kilometres as I go the distance throughout October. Donate now to show your support.
Thank you!
