why we're running for KING💙

This October, we’re running for someone very special—our beautiful son, King.

King is 5 years old and was diagnosed with Level 3 Autism. He is also non-verbal. While he may not communicate with words, he speaks in so many other ways—with his smile, his cuddles, his laughter, and the pure joy he finds in the little things. He has the biggest heart, loves animals, and finds so much happiness in nature. Watching the world through his eyes has taught us more about love, patience, and acceptance than we ever thought possible.

Autism isn’t something that needs to be “fixed”—it’s a different way of experiencing the world. But the reality is that many autistic children, including King, face challenges every single day that most people never see. Alongside those challenges can come anxiety, frustration, sensory overwhelm, and mental health struggles that affect not only autistic individuals but also their families.

We’re taking on the October Run Challenge to raise awareness, encourage understanding, and help create a world where autistic children like King are accepted, included, and celebrated for exactly who they are.

Every step we take is for him.

We’re inviting our family, friends, and community to join us. Whether you run, walk, jog, donate, or simply share our story, you’re helping shine a light on autism and showing families like ours that they’re not alone.
