Meet Emeline
This October, I’m once again joining Autism Awareness Australia’s fundraising campaign because this cause is deeply personal to me. My daughter, Emeline, was diagnosed with Level 3 Autism Spectrum Disorder and is non-verbal. Since her diagnosis, our family has experienced both the challenges and the incredible victories that come with her journey.
The autism community has given us hope, support, knowledge, and a sense of belonging during times when we needed it most. Every milestone Emeline reaches is a reminder of what is possible when children receive the right support early.
By taking part in this campaign, I’m giving back to a community that has helped shape Emelines journey. I want to help ensure that other children / familles have access to early diagnosis, autism-specific education, and the resources they need so their children can thrive just as Emeline continues to do every day.
