I'm Running 70km for Autism – For Families Like Mine
This October, I’m taking on the 70km challenge to raise awareness for autism – not just for those on the spectrum, like me, but also for the parents, carers, and families who walk a journey a bit like ours.
I was incredibly blessed to receive early intervention therapies as a child. My mum and dad fought hard to get me the support I needed – and it made an enormous difference in my life. Not every family has access to these resources, and not every child gets that early help.
That’s why I’m running.
For the kids who are wired a little differently.
For the parents doing everything they can to understand, support, and advocate.
For those who face daily challenges – sensory overload, communication hurdles, and a lot of other challenges.
And I want to help raise awareness, understanding, and support so that more families can access the help they need early – when it can change everything.
