I’m joining the movement to Run for Autism. But I need your help.

This October, I’m running 35km for autism and I’m doing it for someone very special to me, my beautiful boy, Noah. Noah has Level 3 Autism Spectrum Disorder, and being his mum has taught me more about love, strength, patience and resilience than I ever could have imagined. Our journey has its challenges, but it has also given me so many moments of joy and reasons to be incredibly proud of him.

35km will be tough, and I know there will be moments when my legs are hurting and I’ll wonder why I’m doing it. But when it gets hard, I’ll think of Noah and the challenges he faces every single day. I’ll keep putting one foot in front of the other, because this run is about more than kilometres  it’s about raising awareness, encouraging acceptance and helping create a world where autistic people are understood, supported and celebrated.

Every kilometre will be for Noah. Every step will be for awareness, acceptance and understanding. And when I cross that finish line, I’ll know I did it for my boy. ❤️
