We’ve smashed our team fundraising goal! A huge thank you to everyone who has donated, liked and loved our posts, and supported us along the way. Your incredible generosity means so much to us.

We’re a whānau (family) team moving our tinana (bodies) to raise awareness and much needed funds for services that support Autistic people to live their best life, and help create autism-friendly environments where they feel welcomed, understood and free to realise their different brilliant®.

Our team name includes the word Takiwātanga a Māori word often used to describe autism as “in one’s own time and space.” 

A special shout out to our wonderfully spicy, neurodivergent son and nephew, Jarom. May you continue grow in a world that embraces difference, celebrates uniqueness, and understands that you and others on the spectrum are not broken.  

And to Jarom's safe haven and MVP 24/7 team - his parents and siblings - we see you, we love and appreciate you all.
