Why this run?

This run is personal. 
Growing up in our culture, autism wasn’t something we were familiar with or educated about. Now, having close friends & family members raising beautiful autistic children, I’ve realised how important awareness & understanding really are.
For me, this isn’t only about raising money - it’s about raising awareness encouraging education & helping create a world where autistic people feel understood, welcomed & safe. It’s also recognition for the parents learning, adapting & advocating for their children every single day. 
Awareness creates understanding & understanding creates a safer space for the generations after us 🫶🏽
