Dokan Martial Arts — Running for Inclusion, Strength & Belonging
At Dokan Supportive Martial Arts, we believe movement has the power to build confidence, connection and independence.
That is why our team is proud to take part in Run for Autism.
Dokan was created to make martial arts more accessible for children, teenagers and adults who may need additional support. Through supportive and adaptable martial arts programs, we aim to provide a safe environment where every participant can learn at their own pace, celebrate their progress and feel that they truly belong.
Joining Run for Autism is another way for our team to stand behind those values.
For us, this challenge is not only about kilometres. It is about raising awareness, supporting autistic people and their families, and helping create a community where differences are understood and respected.
Every kilometre our team completes represents something important:
Inclusion. Confidence. Opportunity. Belonging.
We are proud to run together as Team Dokan, and we would love our families, friends, students and wider community to support us along the way.
Whether you join our team, share our page, encourage a participant or make a donation, every contribution helps make a difference.
Together, we can move towards a more inclusive future.

🏃 Run with us.
💙 Support the cause.
🥋 Stand for inclusion.
We're joining the movement to Run for Autism. But we need your help!
Why are we running 70km this October? Because 70% of Autistic people face mental health challenges.
We're running towards a more inclusive world where Autistic Australians have the opportunity to thrive.
Please donate now and show your support to our fundraiser. You’ll be helping provide early diagnosis, autism-specific education, and critical research into mental health issues experienced by Autistic people so they can access the support they need to realise their different brilliant®.
You’ll also give us the motivation we need to log our kilometres as we go the distance throughout October. Donate now to show your support.
Thank you!
