Run for Autism 2026

Jovi’s journey

This year we are taking part in Run for Autism for our beautiful boy, Jovi.

Jovi is 10 years old and has Level 3 Autism. He experiences the world differently, and while some everyday things can be a huge challenge for him, he continues to surprise us in his own special way.

Anyone who knows Jovi knows just how much he LOVES trains, buses and anything to do with public transport! 🚆🚌 His face lights up when he sees a train coming or gets to go on one of his little adventures.

We decided to call our team Jovi’s Journey, because autism really is a journey. There are challenges, achievements, hard days and some absolutely amazing wins along the way. Jovi has taught our family to celebrate every bit of progress, no matter how small it might seem to someone else.

We’re running to support Jovi and other autistic children, adults and their families, and to help raise awareness, understanding and acceptance of autism.

If you’re able to donate, big or small, we would be so grateful. And if you can’t donate, even sharing our page would mean so much to us.

Every step we take is for Jovi. 💙

Why are we running 70km this October? Because 70% of Autistic people face mental health challenges.

We're running towards a more inclusive world where Autistic Australians have the opportunity to thrive.

Please donate now and show your support to our fundraiser. You’ll be helping provide early diagnosis, autism-specific education, and critical research into mental health issues experienced by Autistic people so they can access the support they need to realise their different brilliant®

You’ll also give us the motivation we need to log our kilometres as we go the distance throughout October. Donate now to show your support.

Thank you!
