I’m joining the movement to Run for Autism. But I need your help.
This October, I’m participating in Run for a Reason to raise awareness and support for autism, a cause that is incredibly close to my heart.
Living with autism is no easy feat. So many of the challenges autistic people face are invisible and can often be overlooked or misunderstood. Things that may seem simple to others can require an incredible amount of courage, energy and resilience.
As a mum, I see firsthand the challenges, but I also see the incredible strengths, determination and unique qualities that come with experiencing the world differently.
I’m running to help raise awareness, understanding and acceptance. I hope for a world where autistic children and adults feel understood and supported, and never feel they need to change who they are simply to fit in.
Every step this October is for greater understanding, acceptance and inclusion.
