I’m joining Run for Autism this October and, for reasons I may seriously regret, I’ve committed to running 70 km.
I haven’t exactly been smashing out the running kilometres this year, so 70 km in one month is going to hurt. A lot.
But there’s a good reason I’m willing to torture myself.
70% of Autistic people experience mental health challenges, and autism is a cause that is very close to me.
So throughout October I’ll be dragging myself out bed early before the sun comes up, running the kilometres, and making it all the way to 70 km.
The money raised supports early diagnosis, autism-specific education, and important research into the mental health challenges experienced by Autistic people, helping more people get the support they need and the opportunity to thrive.
If you’d like to support me, please donate to my fundraiser. Every donation helps a genuinely worthwhile cause and gives me one less excuse to skip a run when my legs are telling me absolutely not.
Thank you for your support.

You always loved a long distance run
