🏊♀️ Swimming for Autism — October Challenge 💙
This October, Lydia, Juliet and I are swapping our running shoes for swimmers and challenging ourselves to swim as many laps as we can throughout the month to raise funds for autism awareness and support.
For our family, autism is personal. Autism in girls can look very different, and is often misunderstood, missed or diagnosed later. Girls can be incredibly good at masking their challenges, which can mean their struggles aren’t always visible to the people around them.
We want to use our challenge to help raise awareness, understanding and acceptance — because every child deserves to be understood, supported and celebrated for exactly who they are. 🩷
Every lap we swim will be for greater awareness, better understanding and a more inclusive world for autistic children and their families.
If you can spare a donation, no matter how big or small, we would be incredibly grateful. And if you can’t donate, simply sharing our page would mean so much to us.
Let’s get swimming! 🏊♀️🏊♀️🏊♀️💙
