I’m joining the movement to Run for Autism - I need your help!
Why am I running 35km this October? I’m running towards a more inclusive world where Autistic Australians have every opportunity to thrive.
This cause is deeply personal to me. In my work, I’ve stood alongside families who are exhausted and unsupported while navigating the world for their loved ones. We need systemic change so Autistic individuals and their families can thrive, not just "survive."
Earlier this year, our world changed when my daughter was diagnosed with Autism. Ray is incredibly creative, funny, emotionally attuned, and absolutely hilarious. But navigating everyday demands and expectations in a world not built for her brings real challenges. As a family, we are constantly learning how to best support her unique needs. We know firsthand that without access to early intervention, strong support networks, and education, this journey would be infinitely harder.
I want every family to have access to that same support!
I would like to invite you to make a donation (no amount is too small). Your contribution will directly fund early diagnosis services, Autism-specific education, and critical mental health research so Autistic people can access the support they deserve.
Thank you so much for your generosity and support - it means the absolute world to us.
Warmly,
Jess
