We’re running for Maimie 💛
This October, me and my family are taking part in Run for Autism and completing 100k for someone very special to us — my daughter Maimie.
Maimie has Level 2 Autism, and being part of her world has taught all of us so much about understanding, patience, acceptance and seeing things differently.
She is funny, loving, clever, strong, cheeky and completely herself. But we also know firsthand how important the right support, understanding and inclusion can be for autistic children and their families.
So this October, we’re doing 100km for Maimie, for other autistic kids and adults, and to help create a world where autistic people are better understood, supported and given every opportunity to thrive.
