I’m joining the movement to Run for Autism. But I need your help.

Why am I running 70km this October? 💙

Because 70% of Autistic people face mental health challenges — but for me, this challenge is also incredibly personal.

I’m running for my beautiful nephew, one of the most lovable, kindest and sweetest souls you could ever meet. I love him more than words can say, and he is a huge part of the reason I want to help create a world where Autistic people are understood, supported, included and given every opportunity to thrive.

Throughout October, I’ll be running 70km to raise awareness and funds to support Autistic Australians and their families.

Every donation will help provide early diagnosis, autism-specific education and critical research into the mental health challenges experienced by Autistic people, helping them access the support they need to realise their different brilliant®.

Every kilometre I run will have a purpose. When my legs are tired and the kilometres feel hard, I’ll be thinking of my nephew and reminding myself exactly why I signed up.

I’m running towards a more inclusive world. I’m running for greater understanding and acceptance. And most importantly, I’m running for my beautiful nephew and all the incredible Autistic people and families who deserve to feel supported and celebrated. 💙
