Why am I running 140kms this October?

Because 70% of Autistic people face mental health challenges.

And….I’m doubling it.

70km has just become 140km because this one hits home. 🧡

As a mum raising neurodivergent girls, this isn’t just a statistic to me. It’s personal. It’s part of why I do what I do, why I advocate, why I keep showing up, and why I want to help create a world where neurodivergent children and their families feel understood, supported and celebrated.

And October is already a pretty huge month for me…

This month, I’ll also be taking on my first full Ironman. 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Every kilometre I swim, ride and run represents something bigger than a finish line.

I’m doing this for my girls.

To show them what it looks like to chase something that scares you. To keep going when it gets hard. To use your voice for something that matters.

Because I’m not just training for an Ironman.

I’m building a legacy! 

For my girls.

For our future.

For every neurodiverse child and family.🧡

Throughout October, I’ll be running 140km to help create a more inclusive world where Autistic Australians have the opportunity to thrive.

Every donation will help support early diagnosis, autism-specific education and critical research into the mental health challenges experienced by Autistic people — helping more people access the support they need to realise their different brilliant®.
