This year, we finally got an answer we'd been exploring for years.
After years of wondering why things just didn't seem to run smoothly for our Owen - the questions, the appointments, the trying to figure it out — we learned he's Autistic.
It wasn't the ending of a search so much as the start of understanding him better. And with that understanding comes the chance to support him in the way he actually needs.
That's part of why I'm running 70km this October for the Aspect Run for Autism — for him, and for every family still in the middle of that search. 🧡
