I’m joining the movement to Run for Autism. But I need your help.
Today, I'm sharing something that's incredibly close to my heart.
This October, I'll be taking on a 70km run for Autism —not because it's easy, but because two very special people inspire me every single day: my eldest two children, who are both Autistic (ASD Level 3).
Every day, they face challenges that many people never see. They navigate a world that isn't always built for them, yet they continue to show incredible strength, resilience, and courage. Being their mum has taught me more about unconditional love, patience, determination, and celebrating every milestone—no matter how big or small.
These 70 kilometres will be tough, but they are nothing compared to the journey my children and so many other families walk every day.
I'm running to raise awareness, advocate for greater understanding, and help raise funds that support autistic individuals and their families. My hope is to contribute, even in a small way, to creating a more inclusive world where every autistic person is accepted, supported, and given every opportunity to thrive.
If you're able to support my fundraiser—whether by donating or simply sharing this post—it would mean so much to me and my family. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference.
Thank you for supporting me as I take on this challenge for the two people who are my greatest motivation and my biggest "why."
Together, we can make a difference.
