I’m joining the movement to Run for Autism. But I need your help.
Why am I running 70km this October? 🏃🏼♀️💙
Because 70% of people on the spectrum face mental health challenges and this cause is very close to my heart.
As a practicing teacher I work with children with all different kinds of neurodivergent brains and I’ve seen how important understanding, acceptance and the right support can be. My sister is also on the spectrum which makes this fundraiser especially personal to me. I also see the world and process things a little differently myself, although I’m not diagnosed it has given me another perspective on just how differently every brain can work.
I’m running 70km to help create a more inclusive world where people on the spectrum have the opportunity to thrive. 🤍
Your donation can help make a real difference. It supports early diagnosis, helping people and families better understand their needs sooner. It supports autism-specific education, helping create greater understanding and acceptance in schools and communities. It also funds critical research into mental health, helping us better understand the challenges people on the spectrum face and work towards better support.
Sometimes the right support at the right time can completely change someone’s life. A donation might feel small, but together we can help make sure more people feel understood rather than overlooked, supported rather than struggling alone and empowered to realise their different brilliant.
Please donate if you can and help me reach my 70km goal this October. Every kilometre and every donation is helping me run towards something bigger than myself. 🫶🏼💙
Thank you for supporting something so close to my heart.
